Megastar Chiranjeevi is setting an example for the younger lot by working on multiple projects at the same time despite crossing his sixties. The legendary hero’s social drama ‘Acharya’ is expected to release in February or April but he is already working on a few other projects. He decided to remake Malayalam hit film ‘Lucifer’ in Telugu. After a lot of delays and corrections in the script, the film went on floors with Mohan Raja as the director.
A part of the shooting was done at a rapid pace and Megastar jumped into the sets of another film. After a brief gap, the filming of ‘Godfather’ is going to commence soon and news is that Bollywood Bhaijaan is expected to join the shoot. There were rumors that he will be seen in a special cameo and insiders reveal that the ‘Dabangg’ hero has given 15 days for this film. As we know, Salman is busy with a jam-packed schedule. It is a big thing to get his dates for a special role and looks like the Mega family’s good relation with the mass hero definitely benefitted them. His part is expected to start in February. As we know, Salman even attended the pre-release event of ‘RRR’ which was held in Mumbai recently. NTR and Ram Charan are the heroes in that film directed by SS Rajamouli.
Coming back to ‘Godfather’, it is directed by Mohan Raja who made ‘Thani Oruvan’, ‘Velaikkaran’ and others in Tamil. Having Salman on board is going to generate a lot of positive buzz on the film. Nayanthara and Satyadev are also a part of this movie for which Thaman is composing the music.
Apart from this film, Megastar is also working on ‘Bholaa Shankar’ which is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Vedhalam’ starring Ajith and Shruti Hassan in the lead. Megastar will be playing the lead as expected while Tamanna is the heroine. Talented actress Keerthy Suresh will be seen as Chiru’s younger sister. Meher Ramesh whose last film was ‘Shadow’ which arrived in 2013 is directing this movie. Apart from that, Chiranjeevi even okayed a mass entertainer with Bobby and recently announced a complete entertainer with Venky Kudumula as the director under DVV Entertainments banner.
