RGV now targets YS Jagan on tickets issue!

Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma had joined the list of celebrities who are voicing against the movie tickets issue. The Satya director is not shying away from making some hard-hitting and hot comments against the government and the Cinematography Minister in this regard.

The other day, RGV had shot a series of questions towards the Andhra Pradesh government on the issue and sought an explanation and answer from the government. Not just that, RGV also tagged Andhra Pradesh Cinematography Minister Perni Nani and posted a series of questions to him.

The sensational director has been in the news since Monday with his raising voice against the government’s decision to fix the ticket rates for the movies. The question RGV has for the government is, what power or right the government has got when the industry is a private business altogether.

After targeting Perni Nani, Ram Gopal Varma had shifted his focus to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

In a video he had posted on his YouTube channel, RGV gave his take on Jagan witnessing a landslide victory in the 2019 general elections. Analyzing the victory, RGV opined that voters have cast their vote to YS Jagan only for the reason that he is late YS Raja Shekar Reddy’s son.

If Jagan is not a son of YSR, would he have managed to get so many votes? Seeing YSR, people in Andhra Pradesh voted for Jagan. Even he had acknowledged the same. I cannot say if Jagan would have got so much image and following if he is not YSR’s son, RGV said in his video.

Talking about Consumer Satisfaction, RGV asked will the Andhra Pradesh government step down if the voters who voted for the party said they were not happy with their ruling.

Countering the claims made by the Ministers that heroes should reduce their remuneration so that the production cost gets reduced, RGV said that the Ministers have zero idea how the industry functions.

The big stars are being paid huge amounts as people will come to theatres to see them. If the government wants to benefit the poor then YS Jagan, Perni Nani, Kodali Nani, and Anil Kumar Yadav can make a better film than Rajamouli’s films and show them for free to the poor.
