YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday lashed out at the Telugu Desam Party and the yellow media for instigating the Left parties against the state government.
Speaking at his Tadepalli office, Jagan said only TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and his media stooges – Ch Ramoji Rao of Eenadu and V Radhakrishna of Andhra Jyothy – were not able tolerate the withdrawal of strike by the state government employees following an agreement with the government.
“They desperately want the employees to continue their strike. If the strike continues, it will be a big festival for the yellow media. They are angry with the employees for calling off their strike. That is why, they have provoked the Communist parties to continue the agitation,” Jagan said.
He said these yellow media would give massive coverage if somebody abuses the chief minister. Even after the employees called off the strike, the TDP and its supporting media are instigating the people, alleging that the employee leaders were sold out.
“The man who said nobody would like to be born as a Dalit has become a darling of Ramoji Rao. The man who threatened to clip the wings of the BCs is a close associate of Radhakrishna,” he pointed out.
The chief minister further alleged that Chandrababu Naidu had written a letter to the Centre saying BCs were not fit to be appointed as high court judges. “He has stalled the construction of houses for the poor.
“It is ridiculous that such an anti-poor man has now become the dearest person for the Left parties,” Jagan criticised.
