Normally, the TRS doesn’t have the need or necessity to react if the Congress is attacked by anyone, as the party is not allied with the Congress. As a result, everyone is wondering why the TRS is angry towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the comments he made against the Congress party recently. PM Modi called out the Congress party, saying that the party acted out of selfishness when it passed the Andhra Pradesh bifurcation law.
BJP Telangana unit president Bandi Sanjay asked why the TRS members and Telangana Chief Minister KCR were in pain when the attack was against Congress, and not towards Telangana. Modi exposed Congress’s policies when making the decision to bifurcate the state, and called out the party for bifurcating the state amidst the chaos, and not properly planning their decision. Bandi said that Modi was simply against the way the Congress party acted on the decision and said that Modi has never been against the concept of Telangana.
Bandi said that the reason for the TRS members making a huge fuss out of this is to divert the attention of the people of Telangana, who were agitating against the unsavoury comments of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on the rewriting of the Constitution of India. Furthermore, Bandi said that Modi had rightly pointed out that when the bifurcation bill was introduced, microphones were cut in Parliament, doors were shut and Congress MPs had even used pepper sprays.
