Another friend of Narendra Modi and the BJP is all set to turn against him. Chirag Paswan, son of former union minister and Lok Jan Shakthi Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan, who called himself Narendra Modi’s Hanuman, remained non-committal about Narendra Modi.
Chirag Paswan, who has been upstaged by his uncle, is now alone. He is sulking and angry that Modi did not come to his rescue.
Recently, Chirag Paswan was evicted from the building that was allotted to his late father. He was asked t vacate 12 Janpath house in Delhi. After this incident, he remained non-committal about his relationship with Modi.
The LJP split into two groups, with Ram Vilas Paswan’s brother Pashupati Kumar Paras, taking away almost all the MPs with him. Chirag is alone now. Modi also made Pashupati a union minister. This has left Chirag completely isolated.
Sources say that a thoroughly disillusioned Chirag is said to be looking towards Rashtriya Janata Dal and its chief Tejashwi Yadav. He is also getting support from former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi. He is planning for the 2025 assembly elections. As of now, this former Hanuman of Modi is mum about whether he would be with Modi in 2025 or not.
