Star writer-director Trivikram Srinivas is a huge name in Tollywood. He is hailed as a wizard of words because of his flawless dialogue writing. He arrived as a nobody in this industry and worked as an assistant writer before turning into the hotshot writer in Tollywood during the early 2000s. He became a director within a couple of years and he is one of the biggest directors in Tollywood right now.
His movies are famous for their hilarious episodes, emotional sequences and stylish fights. He is regarded as one of the best in business but there is a complaint about him that he never comes out of the safety net.
Over the years, Trivikram developed a theme where all the characters end up in a big house and the entire drama happens there. Starting from ‘Nuvvu Naaku Nachavu’ as a writer to ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ as a director, all his movies have a big house in which most of the proceedings take place.
Despite showing flashes of brilliance in action sequences with unique concepts, he sticks to family dramas with a good dose of entertainment. He inevitably scores success and stays at the top. But times are changing now and most of the star heroes are aiming at the pan-Indian market.
Big stars like Charan, NTR, Prabhas, Allu Arjun and others are preferring action films with good emotions since they are getting huge reception in the South as well as the North.
It has been two years since the release of ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ and he is yet to start his next. He may have Mahesh’s project in hand but with Mahesh working with Rajamouli soon, he may also be unavailable for the next few years in case he wants to make another movie.
Experts claim that Trivikram may end up working with mid-level heroes and senior stars if he doesn’t change his style according to the current pan-Indian trend. We need to see if Trivikram gets updated or not.
