Telangana It Minister and TRS Working President KTR had intensified his attack against the saffron party BJP. Lashing out at the party, KTR kickstarted a political storm by alleging that BJP is in plans to make propaganda films for political mileage as it did with Uri: The Surgical Strike and The Kashmir Files.
KTR surprised everyone by alleging that Prabhas starrer Adipurush is also among the propaganda films and the film is likely to be released ahead of the polls. His comments had increased the political heat at once.
Though his comments did not make any noise in Telangana, people from the northern belt of India are lashing out at KTR for his comments on Adipursuh, which is being made on the Hindu epic Ramayana. On social media, they are trolling KTR. Stressing that Ramayan was written by Valmiki not to benefit the BJP, they are trolling the IT Minister.
Through social media, KTR’s comments on Adipurush and other films went viral and reached many people on social media. These comments did not sit well with many and KTR is facing the heat from the netizens and the social media pages that are supporting BJP.
Attacking BJP due to the rivalry between TRS and BJP is fine and understood. But bringing films into the political spectrum and making such comments on a film that is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana which is sacred to the Hindu community is not appreciable.
