Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV is a sensation in the film industry. Since his debut film Shiva, RGV has been doing something new and showed a new path to the industry. Be it the fights or the camera angles, he is a game-changer in Indian cinema.
But now, RGV is unable to match his prime form and all his recent films are turning out to be duds at the box office. Forget about good performance, his recent films are not up to the mark. More than his films, his involvement in the controversies is making him stay in the headlines and enjoy the limelight.
He is responding to almost all the issues in the country and giving his take on the issues. Having an opinion is a good thing, but his comments on various issues made many think that he is doing all this to get attention and his controversial comments just add fuel to the opinion.
As the whole nation is now debating the Hindi National language issue, RGV had entered the issue and said that the comments on Hindi by the Bollywood stars show they are insecure and unhappy with the success the South is making at the box office.
Highlighting how the Kannada film K.G.F is striking gold at the box office in Hindi, RGV said that the success made Bollywood insecure and as a result, the industry is passing such comments.
Now RGV said that like how the Pan Indian heroes from South Prabhas, Yash, Ram Charan, NTR, and Allu Arjun are releasing their films in Hindi and smashing the Bollywood box office, the Bollywood heroes should do the same.
In a series of tweets, he had urged the leading Hindi stars to dub their films in Telugu, Kannada, and other south languages. He had tagged the likes of Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and John Abraham in his tweets.
