The Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is facing severe criticism over the alleged harassment from the party leaders. Many contractors have alleged in the past that they were demanded money from the leaders by threatening that they cannot do their businesses.
Now a big contractor who had done big works in Karnataka was reportedly demanded money from one Konda Reddy, who is the in-charge of the YSRCP for the Kadapa district. Given the family relations, the dup has many had doubts if the cops would take any action against Konda Reddy or not.
But Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had learned about this and reportedly ordered the cops to take the necessary action. As a result, he was arrested by the cops on the grounds of reportedly threatening a contractor over the work he is doing in Pulivendula.
With the criticism on the harassment growing bigger and bigger, CM Jagan might have decided that the image should be changed and for that, some tough decisions should be taken. One such decision is letting the cops arrests Konda Reddy, who is facing big allegations.
The arrest issue can be seen as a big statement coming from the Chief Minister that he would not allow such behavior no matter what. As his relative was also not spared, the other leaders are expected to change their behavior.
