Chandrababu Naidu realized that his party needs the young leaders as the voters are getting connected to the young blood in leadership.
When NTR started TDP, the average age of the candidates who got the party tickets was 40, while that of Congress at that time was 50.
In these lines, if we observe we can understand the average age in TDP and YSRCP during 2014 and 2019 elections.
So now Chandrababu is keen on giving a young look to his party. But is he aiming at picking up the capable youngsters from the people?
No…. As per the sources he is keen on encouraging the son of Ayyanna Patrudu, daughters of Pratibha Bharati and Ashok Gajapathi Raju; the sons of JC Brothers and Paritala Ravi to find place in the party.
Thus he is in the process of encouraging nepotism rather than talent as he cannot dare to rupture the relationship with seniors.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy never works on equations and relations while allocating the tickets to his candidates. But Chandrababu is not able to take such a step.
So, in his view, the youngsters in his party mean the scions from the families of senior leaders.
