It is known that the Andhra Pradesh government’s decision of pricing cinema tickets at low rates in the state has impacted the overall box office collections of many small and medium budget films.
Natural star Nani, who already called the low rates as illogical, has yet again responded to this issue. Ahead of his upcoming film Ante Sundaraniki release, the Shyam Singha Roy actor said that those who are commenting on him about the ticket prices issue are ‘Senseless’. “I did not ask for Rs 500. I just only said that the film industry cannot survive with Rs 20, 40, 60 prices,” he said. He added that pricing too high is wrong and fixing too low rates is wrong as well.
Ante Sundaraniki is directed by Vivek Athreya and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Starring Nani and Nazriya Nazim in the lead roles, the film is scheduled to be released on 10 June 2022.
