The grand old Congress party is always accused of not respecting the Telugu people, if not the Andhra people. The anger in Andhra people towards Congress multiplied with the state bifurcation as the state was divided without proper capital. After that, Congress collapsed in Andhra Pradesh.
The Union government BJP is learning from the Congress episode. The saffron party is talking about the Telugu language and films whenever it is possible. After Bahubali, a few BJP leaders spoke about the magnum opus and took reference to Bahubali in their speeches.
Now the Centre is all set to celebrate the birth anniversary of Revolutionary freedom fighter Alluri Seetharama Raju, which is on the fourth of this month. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be taking part in the celebrations and he will unveil the statue of the freedom fighter at Bhimavaram.
Dignitaries across the fields were invited to the 125th birth anniversary of Alluri Sita Rama Raju by the government. The celebrations are going to be a treat to watch with a lot of personalities sharing the stage on a special occasion. The members of BJP, ruling YCP in AP, TDP, Janasena, and Megastar Chiranjeevi will be present during the celebrations.
We will get to see Megastar Chiranjeev and his brother Pawan Kalyan sharing the same stage as part of the 125th birth anniversary celebrations of the legendary freedom fighter.
The political observers say that the celebrations event might help the saffron party in getting rid of the people’s anger over a few issues. BJP is facing the heat over not granting the special category status and not giving any financial help to the state that is dealing with a big crisis.
The Bharatiya Janata Party is yet to open its account in the Telugu state Andhra Pradesh. For that, the saffron party is trying whatever it could do. The state chief was also changed by the party.
As the celebrations are a couple of days away, the BJP will stay in the middle of the news. The freedom fighter will be honored by celebrating his 125th anniversary under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, an initiative started by the Union government to celebrate the 75 years of independence of the country.
