The pre-release event of The Ghost took place in Kurnool today, where King Akkineni Nagarjuna was present along with his sons, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil. The crowd turnout for the event was humongous and fans were very enthusiastic to see their favorite actors on the stage. The entire cast and crew of the film were present at the event, and they talked about their journey of making the film, saying that they hoped and believe that the film is going to do well and impress the audience.
Naga Chaitanya and Akhil kept their speech short, with both the actors saying that it’s always surreal watching the kind of energy and passion their father has, towards filmmaking, and that this energy and enthusiasm that his father shows, keeps motivating and encouraging them in their lives.
Nagarjuna started off his speech reminiscing about Shiva, saying that the film was released on October 5th 33 years ago and became a path-breaking film and that he hopes that The Ghost, which is now scheduled to be released on October 5th, will turn out to be a massive success.
He said that the director, Praveen Sattaru, has moulded the film into a wonderful action entertainer, one that he’s wanted to do for quite some time now. Nagarjuna thanked the audience for supporting and encouraging his family for all these years, and thanked his father, the late Akkineni Nageswara Rao, for being the person responsible for all this.
He concluded his speech by saying that he hopes that The Ghost, and Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Godfather, which is also set to be released on October 5th, will both turn out to be good hits.
