Why Nirmala Sitharaman Was Taken To Delhi AIIMS?

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Nirmala Sitharaman who is serving as the Union Finance Minister was taken to the famous medical facility All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the national capital Delhi earlier today. After she felt unwell she was taken there.

As per the reports Nirmala Sitharaman reportedly complained of a stomach infection and was taken to the Delhi AIIMS. She underwent a few tests and examinations there and it is said that her condition is stable now and she is likely to get discharged from the AIIMS soon.

Nirmala Sitharaman had a busy schedule in the last two days. Yesterday she paid floral tributes to the former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the eve of his birthday which was celebrated in a big way as Atal Ji is a star BJP leader.

A couple of days back the Union Finance Minister was present at the Dr. MGR Medical University in Chennai and she took part in the convocation of the University.

Nirmala Sitharaman was born in Madurai and she is an M.Phil graduate. After completing her Masters Nirmala finished her M.Phil from the famous Jawaharlal Nehru UIniversity which is also called JNU. She started working with the BJP in 2006.

Her career in the Bharatiya Janata Party started as a spokesperson. Later she was made a junior minister in BJP’s cabinet. Nirmala Sitharaman served as the Defence Minister of India earlier and she is serving as the Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs of India.
