‘Mangalavaaram’ is written, directed and produced by Ajay Bhupathi of ‘RX 100’ fame. Its title reveal poster, unveiled moments ago, doubled up as a concept-reveal poster as well.
Producers Swathi Gunupati and Suresh Varma M (of Mudhra Media Works) and Ajay Bhupathi himself are sparing no effort to make this pan-South India movie (to be made in all major South Indian languages) an unmatched, never-heard-before experience. B Ajaneesh Loknath, who accepts unique non-Kannada films, is composing music.
Thirty different characters are going to make ‘Mangalavaaram’ vibrant, multi-dimensional, and colourful. We have to see what is the story and its span which have necessitated those many roles. The film, on the face of it, doesn’t seem to be based on conventional hero-heroine tracks and such run-of-the-mill elements. If the ingredients are unique, the story can be all the more convincing.
Art director Raghu Kulkarni, sound designer Raja Krishnan (who has bagged a National Award in the past), director of photography Dasaradhi Sivendra and others have been roped in. The cast details will be made official soon.
