While legendary actress Sridevi’s elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is all set to make her South debut with #NTR30, her younger daughter Khushi Kapoor is reportedly going to act in the remake of another South movie. As we know, Bollywood is remaking a lot of Southern projects these days. ‘Shehzada’ is a remake of ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’, ‘Selfiee’ of Akshay Kumar and Emraaan Hashmi is a remake, ‘Bholaa’ which will release soon is a remake of ‘Khaidi’, ‘Jersey’ is a remake with the same name and the same goes to ‘Vikram Vedha’. ‘HIT’ was also remade in Hindi with the same title.
‘Gumraah’ which is the remake of ‘Thadam’ (remade as ‘RED’ in Telugu) is releasing on 7th April. Now, it has been made official the ‘Phantom Studios’ will be remaking ‘Love Today’ in Hindi. As we know, Pradeep Ranganathan who made ‘Comali’ in the past has created a sensation with ‘Love Today’. The movie which earned more than 100 crores worldwide has become a huge hit in Tamil as well as Telugu.
The hilarious moments, relatable storyline, touching emotions and perfect narration paired with strong performances made this film a memorable one. Pradeep played the male lead himself while Ivana was the heroine. Coming to its Bollywood remake, sources say that Khushi Kapoor will be seen as the female lead in this project while Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan will play the hero’s role. The official announcement regarding the cast is expected to be revealed soon.
Khushi Kapoor is currently working on a Netflix show named ‘The Archies’ where Suhana Khan and other star kids are also a part of. Junaid is acting under Yash Raj Films banner and the movie is titled ‘Maharaja’.
