Japan is hosting the annual international forum G7 Summit attended by the member nations- Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as well as the European Union. The forum is a meeting between the most advanced economies in the world. The summit was held in Japan’s Hiroshima.
Host Japan invited India as a special guest. Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the meeting and met his Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida. A detailed discussion on various issues is said to have taken place between the two Prime Ministers at the summit.
But what caught everyone’s attention was the meeting between Narendra Modi and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The two were invited by the Japanese PM for the international summit and this made the summit a platform for the first meeting between the two.
The meeting has a big relevance as it marks the first meeting between them after the Russia-Ukraine war started. Narendra Modi is said to have spoken about the issue and expressed his concerns about what is going on in Ukraine as it is a matter of humanity and the issue is not political.
The Ukraine war also left a big impact on India, as a few Indians were killed in the war. Indians were airlifted from the nation as the situation was going out of hand. Students studying in Ukraine were stuck due to the war.
Studying MBBS is cheap in Ukraine compared to India and those who cannot afford education here prefer the European nation. As a result, they got stuck and had to bring back to India.
