Young hero Nikhil Siddharth’s recent outing ‘SPY’ turned out to be a disappointment. The audience expected a lot due to an action-packed trailer but the film did not reach the expectations. Despite a good start at the box office, the film’s collections instantly dropped.
Prior to the release, there were reports that Nikhil wanted to postpone the film so that they could work on the film more and promote it on a national level. But the producers wanted to release it on 29th July which led to a lot of mishaps. Over 350 premier shows in Telugu were canceled. He has now come out and issued an official apology to his fans.
He said, “I apologize to all the Hindi, Kannada, Tamil & Malayalam audience for this and promise that after ‘Karthikeya 2’ it will be our next upcoming 3 films that will be in theatres in all languages perfectly finished and released on time.” Before that, he added, “It pains me to inform you all that ‘SPY’ DID NOT have a proper multi language release across India because of Contract/Content Delay issues which also lead to 350 Telugu premier shows being cancelled.”
Nikhil is currently working on two pan-Indian projects. While one is ‘Swayambhu’ directed by Bharat Krishnamachari. It is a period drama that is yet to go on floors. Bhuvan and Sreekar will be producing it under Pixel Studios with Tagore Madhu presenting it. Ravi Basrur scores the music while Manoj Paramahamsa helms the cinematography department. M Prabhaharan is the production designer and the dialogues for the movie are provided by Vasudev Muneppagari.
Also, he is the lead actor in Abhishek Agarwal and Ram Charan’s next production. It is titled ‘India House’. ‘Karthikeya 3’ is also on the cards.
