Will India’s name be changed to Bharat is the debate that has been going on for the past few days. Looking at the alleged pictures of the invitations of the guests of the G20 summit, the opposition parties and the activists are slamming the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Centre over the proposal.
It is known that the opposition parties are coming down severely on the ruling party. Activists are asking how the proposal can be made without even informing the people of the country and the Parliament House and its elected members.
The debate is still in the news as the celebrities are giving their opinions. Despite so much intensity on the issue, the union government is not showing any interest in addressing the issue and informing the people in the country about this, and clearing the airs.
Actor Prakash Raj who is a fierce critic of the BJP responded to this and slammed the government. He rapped the idea and said that such things are being done out of fear and they cannot do anything except for changing the names.
Having said that fear factor is behind the decision, Prakash Raj said Indians can change you and the government. “You can only change names with FEAR .. we INDIANS can change YOU and Your GOVERNMENT… with PRIDE . #INDIA #justasking,” Prakash Raj said.
It is known that earlier Prakash Raj aggressively campaigned against the BJP in the recent Karnataka elections. He urged the voters to remember what happened in the state in the past few years mentioning the hijab controversy and others and asked them to vote for development and not violence.
In a series of tweets, Prakash Raj came down severely on the BJP and breathed fire on the party. The actor-turned-politician even asked if they would change the colour of the national flag and reveal their true colors.
