Nithin, the lead actor and producer of the movie “Extra Ordinary Man,” faced a significant setback as the film experienced a massive failure at the box office worldwide after its release on December 8th. Despite his efforts, the movie’s theatrical business resulted in over 80% losses for its buyers, amounting to more than 20Cr.
Recognizing the losses incurred by the buyers, Nithin pledged to compensate them for a portion of their financial setbacks. Even though he dedicated substantial time to perfecting the script, engaging in reshoots that increased the budget, and collaborating closely with the director, the movie didn’t achieve the anticipated success.
This failure not only caused financial strain but also took a toll on Nithin’s mental well-being. The film showcased a talented cast, including Rao Ramesh, Rohini, Brahmaji, and Sampath, and was produced by Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy under Shresth Movies and Adithya Movies & Entertainments.
The music for the film was composed by Harris Jayaraj. “Extra Ordinary Man” narrates the story of Abhi (portrayed by Nithin), an aspiring actor who, despite multiple failed attempts, dreams of making it big in the film industry.
Despite the dedicated efforts and the involvement of a talented team, the film’s outcome resulted in a disappointing box office performance, prompting Nithin to take responsibility and offer compensation to mitigate the losses suffered by the buyers.
