“Pushpa: The Rule” Gears Up for Release with New Editor on Board

Director Sukumar, known for his meticulous approach to filmmaking, is facing a late-stage change in the editing team for the highly anticipated sequel “Pushpa: The Rule.” While the film remains on track for its August 15th release, a new editor has joined the project to ensure a seamless final product.

Sukumar, a perfectionist when it comes to crafting his vision, reportedly had creative differences with Karthik Srinivas, the editor who had collaborated with him on previous projects. As a result, Karthik Srinivas has departed the project.

Taking the reins for editing duties is the highly sought-after Navin Nooli. Nooli, known for his work on prestigious films like “Jersey,” brings a wealth of experience to the table. He and his team are fully immersed in the editing process, ensuring a polished final product for “Pushpa: The Rule.”

“Pushpa: The Rule” is the follow-up to the highly successful “Pushpa: The Rise,” which garnered national attention. Set against the backdrop of red sanders smuggling, the film boasts a pan-Indian cast and crew. Reprising their roles from the first film are Allu Arjun as the protagonist and Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli. Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil joins the cast as the antagonist, Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. The film also features prominent actors like Ajay Ghosh, Sunil, and Anasuya in supporting roles. Devi Sri Prasad returns as the music composer, while Mythri Movie Makers bankrolls the high-budget production.

With a new editor on board and the team working diligently, “Pushpa: The Rule” remains on course for its August 15th release. Audiences eagerly await this action-packed sequel, anticipating another cinematic spectacle from director Sukumar.
