The discussion about the age gap between the hero and heroine is something that has been going on for decades. The social media made it a whole lot bigger than it should be and everyone is talking about it. Senior heroes romancing young heroes has been portrayed as a sin on social media these days. ‘Mr. Bachchan’ team is facing a lot of heat regarding the same issue.
As we know, Bhagyashri Borse is in her twenties while Ravi Teja is in his fifties. The trolling began right from the release of posters itself. There were heavy trolls and criticism on the songs, romantic scenes and the trailer too. Director Harish Shankar defended their decision to go ahead with it by speaking a few logics. He says that onlookers are having more trouble while the hero and heroine who worked on the film had no problem.
Also, he claims that movie is a work of fiction and the roles should be viewed rather than the real life actors and their ages while watching a film. Not just Harish but heroine Bhagyashri gave a smart reply to shut down the trolls. When asked about the memorable moments with Ravi Teja on sets, she said, “dancing while romancing him, I would say.” This stunned many as the actress could have said anything but mentioned this just to stop all the negative comments on romance.
‘Mr. Bachchan’ is releasing on 15th August. It is a remake of the Bollywood film ‘Raid’. Mickey J Meyer is the music composer while Ayanka Bose is the director of photography. Jagapathi Babu will be seen as the villain in this film.
