Global star Ram Charan’s wife, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, known for her creative entrepreneurial ventures, has once again amazed us with her innovative ideas. Following the success of Athama Kitchen, Upasana has now introduced a revolutionary concept in the world of childbirth.
Pavitra Rajaram, Creative Director at Pavitra Rajaram Design, revealed the fascinating story behind Upasana’s birthing suite project. Nine months before the birth of her first child with Ram Charan, Upasana conceived the idea of creating a luxurious and calming birthing space within the international wing of Apollo Health City in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
“I wanted to deliver in an atmosphere that was like a hotel, with the comforts of home, while still being in a hospital,” Upasana explained. “Then I thought, why limit this experience to myself? All women should have this opportunity.”
The result is a stunning 1,200 square foot suite that offers unmatched privacy and comfort. The suite includes a dining and living room, a spa-style bathroom, hotel-trained chefs, and even the unique feature of candlelit dinners.
Pavitra Rajaram emphasized the holistic and experience-led design approach behind the project, ensuring that the suite meets all hospital and medical standards while providing a luxurious and relaxing ambiance.
