Actor Nikhil Siddhartha’s vehicle has been fined by the traffic police for a purported flouting of lockdown norms. It is needless to say that lockdown hours are restricted after 1 p.m. To clarify further about the case, reportedly the actor’s vehicle was identified during lockdown hours post the approved time at Hyderabad’s Kukatpally by the traffic police the other day.
However, Nikhil was not present inside the car, rather his driver was there when the incident occurred. Sources revealed that the incident happened in the late afternoon on Wednesday.
As the vehicle was speeding on the road, the police forcibly stopped it and questioned the driver. He gave no valid reason, nor did he show a valid pass. Hence The Hyderabad traffic police, raised a challan after his car has been identified under the ‘disobedience of orders’.
Bose Kiran, Kukatpally Traffic inspector says, two cases have been booked against the car. “One is against the movement of vehicle on the road without any pass or valid reason during lockdown hours and the other the car number plate is against the norms as it was inside the vehicle”.
