Former Andhra Pradesh Seed Corporation chairman AV Subba Reddy on Thursday accused TDP leader and former minister Bhuma Akhila Priya of “conspiring to eliminate” him, and demanded her immediate arrest.
Subba Reddy, who was once a staunch follower of late Bhuma Nagi Reddy, claimed his daughter Akhila Priya hired a gang of supari killers to eliminate him about three months ago.
“But Kadapa police arrested the gang members and saved my life. While police arrested Akhila Priya’s husband Bhargava Ram and her PA Madha Seenu in connection with the case, the former minister is yet to arrested,” he alleged.
However, Akhila Priya dismissed the allegations as baseless.
“A conspiracy is being hatched against me by dragging my name into something in which I have absolutely no role to play at all. The accusations as absolutely baseless. I will soon bring to light the facts of the case and the political conspiracy being hatched against me,” she told media.
