Some movies exactly deliver the opposite of what their predecessors did. Recently Baahubali proved how the result is going to be when a galaxy of big stars proved themselves. And the other day when Kick 2 has hit screen, it proved how bad writing is going to haunt even talented performers.
From Raviteja to Rajpal Yadav, Srinivas Reddy to Sudhir Misra, 30 years Prithvi to Roller Raghu, all are highly talented and proved actors. Whether it is comedy or emotion, these stars always flouted the best of their talents. But in Kick 2, all these people’s acting looked dull, low and uninteresting. Probably we’ve to blame poor writing by Vakkantam Vamsi. If there is anyone who got fame from Kick 2, it’s none other than Rakul Preet Singh.
Whatever the little variations that are given to her role, she carried them with elan. Every critic is of the opinion that Rakul portrayed her role quite flawlessly thereby attracting every film lover. That’s a good sign for her as her career started flourishing just now.
