Telangana CM KCR has opened new doors to all the Malayalis living in Telangana. At the Confederation of Telangana Region Malayali Association, KCR stated that all the Malayalis share equal rights in the state along with the Telangana people. Earlier, KCR laid the foundation for the Kerala Bhavan in Film Nagar, Hyderabad in the presence of the Kerala CM Oommen Chandy.
Reinstating his previous promise, KCR vowed to allot 1 acre of land and 1crore rupees for the construction of Kerala Bhavan and invited the Malayalis to partner in the development of Telangana, stating that all Malayalis are Telanganites. KCR further showered the Malayalis in Telangana with sops and announced 2 bedroomed flats for 350 poor Malayalis in Telangan recognized by the CTRMA. KCR further stated that his government will take Kerala’s assistance in eradicating illiteracy in Telangana region.
Reacting to KCR’s kind gesture, the Kerala CM Oommen Chandy expressed his gratitude and said that he wishes prosperity of the Telangana state in behalf of all the Malayalis. Chandy further said that the Malayalis in Telangana have accepted Telangana as their own state. Chandy also vowed to allot 5 acres of land to the Telangana state government to build their guesthouses at the Sabarimalai temple.
