Already news is out that Allu Arvind’s Geetha Arts and Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations will be producing the Hindi remake of “Jersey” together as Karan Johar opted out of the project. These two banners will join hands with the original film’s director and producer.
Reports are coming that Geetha Arts will revive their Bollywood ambitions with this project which is coming from the stable after nearly a decade, with their last Hindi film being Ghajini with Aamir Khan which released in 2008. We hear that Allu Arvind’s elder son Allu Bobby is most likely to handle the Hindi version production-related stuff, sitting at their Mumbai office.
Recently Allu Arjun is also seen flying frequently to Mumbai along with wife for partying, and that explains they have already set up a pod there. With Bunny Vasu managing the works of Geetha Arts’ Telugu productions, surely they need a new hand to do the same in Hindi, and Bobby is said to be perfectly apt for the role. Let’s wait for the official confirmation anyway.
On the other hand, while Karan Johar wanted to produce this film independently, the producer of the Telugu version is said to have expressed his desire to partner up. This led to the break of Karan from Jersey we hear.
