Apparently, the news of “Okka Kshanam” facing plagiarism allegations has stunned tinsel town as director VI Anand who made a film like Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada impressed audiences big time. Especially when it is said that Korean film “Parallel Life” is officially remade in Telugu as “2 Manamiddaram” and then Allu Sirish’s film a free-make of it.
Reports have come that producer Anil Sunkara, who has got the remake rights of Parallel Life is actually contemplating to take legal action on Sirish’s film producers. But the issue got sorted out in a kshanam (second) over a table.
A couple of hours earlier, producer Anil Sunkara tweeted, “Had a pleasant chat with Vi Anand &Chakri of Okka Kshanam. All the concerns are sorted out &cleared. After knowing the entire content of d film, i am sure that its gonna be a big hit.Advanced congrats to @AlluSirish @directorvianand nd Chakri. Looking farward 2 working with dem (sic)”. (Tweet posted as is)
Should we now read this as Okka Kshanam is not even a distant copy of
Parallel Life movie? Maybe.
