Amaravati May Create Differences Between Andhraites

During the separate Telangana  movement, former Congress leader and the last Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh Kiran Kumar Reddy vehemently opposed the state’s bifurcation and even quit Congress and formed Jai Samaikyandhra Party before the elections.

However, Kiran Kumar Reddy has been oblivious to active politics since then and hardly made headlines. Now, breaking his silence after so many months, Kiran Kumar Reddy met with the media and raised concerns about the AP capital city Amaravati.

The ex-CM said that more clarity is needed regarding the capital city. Kiran Kumar Reddy further said that “the less said about Amaravati, the better,” and that Amaravati may pose a that to the harmony is the people is all regions in Andhra Pradesh in the future, if certain issues are not solved. The ex-CM also stated that both the Telugu CMs have ignored people’s issues.
