$10 billion in 10 years is what the AP government needs to build its new capital Amaravati, as revealed by Ajay Jain, the Secretary of AP Infrastructure and Investment Department during his speech at India Investment Summit.
Ajay Jain further stated that the AP government is working closely with the Singapore government and hoped to finish the construction of important government complexes and iconic buildings the next three years.
Addressing a large platoon of investors from India and abroad, Ajay Jain further stated that Andhra Pradesh has the 2nd longest coastline among the Indian states and ranks second in ease of doing business. Listing out other incentives further, Ajay Jain said that several prestigious universities will be setting up campuses in Amaravati.
