Anasuya Bharadwaj distributes nutrition kits


During these tough times, our frontline workers have been working hard, around the clock to keep everyone safe. Recently, the Rachakonda Police initiated a program to provide nutrition kits comprising eggs, fruits, dates, milk, and ragi powder to pregnant women as they are one of the most vulnerable groups prone to infections.

The cops identified the beneficiaries through the local Primary Health Care Center (PHC) and have so far distributed these kits to pregnant women in Jawaharnagar, Malkajgiri and Yacharam. Anasuya Bharadwaj, who is celebrating her birthday today wanted to be a part of the initiative and decided to sponsor and distribute 100 kits to pregnant women of Keesara PHC along with Mahesh Bhagwat, Rachakonda Police Commissioner.

Posting pictures of the same on Twitter, Rachakonda Police wrote, ” #HelpingHands Anchor Anusuya has sponsored a healthy kits article for 100 pregnant ladies at Keesara on the occasion of her birthday. #CP_Rachakonda, @DcpMalkajgiri, @AcpKushaiguda, SHO @Keesaraps have distributed.” (sic)
