With rapidly rising Coronavirus cases in the country, a lot of celebrities have also been tested positive for the virus over the last few weeks.
Veteran actor and politician, Sarathkumar is the latest celebrity to have tested positive for Coronavirus. The popular actor has self-isolated himself and has asked everyone who has come in touch with him to get tested.
The other day, the actor took to Twitter and wrote, “Good evening my near and dear friends relatives and my brothers and sisters In the political party, this evening I have tested positive and have self isolated myself,I humbly request all the dear ones who have been in contact for the past week to test yourself immediately.” (sic)
This is the second time that Sarath Kumar has been infected by Covid-19. He was earlier infected by the virus in December 2020.
On the work front, Sarath Kumar will next be seen in Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. He also has an interesting lineup of films.
