The other day reports floated that 88 year old Singeetam Srinivasa Rao who last film was released in 2013 is planning to direct a movie this year. It is said that he has chosen a singer biopic to direct. Now reports are that Singeetam Srinivasa Rao has found it interesting to narrate life story of popular carnatic singer Bangalore Nagaratnamma who was also a social reformer too. This project was set up in the Independence Era.
Latest news is that Singeetam is interested to cast in Anushka to play the titular role. Will Sweety who has been selective about her roles okay this biopic? People Media Factory is going to bankroll this film which is currently in scripting stages. More clarity will arise within few months.
Anushka on the other hand is awaiting for the release of Nishabdam her multi lingual release which was scheduled for release on April 2nd initially but it was postponed to a later date following covid-19 outbreak.
