Anushka starrer “Nishabdham” was initially planned for January 24 release. But the film was pulled out from this date as it could not get buyers in other languages.
After much dillydallying, the makers have locked April 2nd as the release date. Just recently, a huge event celebrating 15 years of Anushka was also conducted as part of the movie’s promotion.
But now, the producers have no option but to postpone the movie again. With the coronavirus outbreak, all new movies have changed their dates.
There will be no theaters available for the movie in Tamilnadu and in North India in the first week of April. Considering these factors, the team has now postponed.
“Nishabdham” has Anushka playing a mute artist and Madhavan as her husband.
Shot in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, English and Malayalam languages, the thriller also features Anjali, Subbaraju, Hollywood actor Michael Madsen and Shalini Pandey in other important roles. Peoples Media Factory and Kona Venkat have produced the movie.
It has completed the shoot in November last year and since then struggling to find a perfect release date.
