The Andhra Pradesh wing of Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) that is desperately looking to strengthen in the state is not leaving any chance in this regard. The BJP has been targeting the government over the recently announced Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) trust board.
BJP state chief for Andhra Pradesh Somu Veerraju who is currently touring in East Godavari district in the state had surprised one and all saying that the Endowments Department will be canceled if the BJP comes to power in AP.
Giving a reason for this, the state chief said that the Andhra Pradesh government had made a lot of changes to the Endowments Department and hence the departments will be canceled so that no unwanted changes will be made to the department.
Talking about the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) trust board. Veerraju had reminded that the Andhra Pradesh High Court had canceled the decision taken by the state government.
Earlier, the AP BJP had severely condemned the trust appointment and asked the reason behind increasing the cap on invitees in the trust. The leaders have also met Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan against the board and requested him to issue directives to cancel the trust.
