Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who arrived in Delhi on a two-day visit, is taking part in a series of meetings with Union Ministers.
CM Jagan had an extensive discussion on Polavaram during a meeting with the Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. He appealed for timely completion of the Polavaram Project. An estimate of Rs 55,656.87 crore was sought for approval. The CM, who has set a target of completing the project by June 2022, appealed for approval of the project’s increased expectations. They also discussed achieving 100% household tap connections in AP.
Earlier, Union Minister of Environment Prakash Javadekar met Jagan. The CM is scheduled to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah at 9 pm. He is scheduled to meet the Ministers of Commerce, Railways and Petroleum tomorrow morning.
The CM will stay in Delhi for the night and will return to Andhra Pradesh tomorrow afternoon. The CM was accompanied by Chief Secretary Aditya Nath Das, MPs Vijay Sai Reddy, Mithun Reddy, Avinash Reddy, Balashowry Vallabhaneni, Mopidevi Venkataramana and others.
