AP elections a boon to Telangana liquor sales?!

Jagan Mohan Reddy is announcing that there may be a ban on the liquor sale in Andhra Pradesh during the period of Local Body Elections. From 12th of March to 29th of March these elections will be held.

Since there will be a lot of liquor distribution during the election time, Jagan had said that the government and election commission will make sure of the ban to be absolute.

Therefore, the people of Andhra Pradesh have started to buy the liquor in advance from the border of the Telangana State. So, more and more stock is being supplied to the border of Andhra Pradesh from Telangana. This way, analysts say that a lot of additional income will be possible and the excise will increase heavily.

Almost 538 liquor shops have been given double supply of the stock in respect to meet the demand. There are 8 districts that share a border with the Telangana State. Usually there will be 500 crores of sales in normal days. But it is estimated that the sales during just this phase, it may go way up above 1,000 crores.
