Andhra Pradesh Election Commissioner Gopal Krishna Dwivedi has said that the trend of election results will be known by 12 Noon while the first result will be out at 2 PM. Dwivedi addressed the media ahead of the counting day which is tomorrow.
The poll officer said all the arrangements are made for the counting. “In 36 centres, 350 counting halls are arranged. The postal and service votes will be counted first and then the EVMs. If there is any issue with EVMs, then VVPAT slips will counted and they will be picked up in random manner as per the Supreme Court of India guidelines,” said Dwivedi.
The full list of winners is expected to take time and Dwivedi said it might be mid-night of tomorrow that we can get the complete list of election results.
On the security measures, Dwivedi said three layered police force are deployed at counting halls and only authorised persons will be allowed inside. 144 section will be effective from Wednesday mid-night till the results are declared officially.
So the count-down has begun and TDP, YSRCP folks have kept their fingers crossed!
