AP gets Rs 122 cr towards Corona relief!

Andhra Pradesh government headed by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has received an amount of Rs 122,53,46,985 in the form of donations towards taking up relief measures to fight the Coronavirus pandemic in the state.

According to Information and Public Relations Commissioner T Vijaya Kumar Reddy, who is also a member of the State Level Task Force Committee to fight Corona (Media Management), the amount was received from as many as 10,909 donors towards “CMRF – Covid – 19 AP” as on April 7.

The Commissioner informed that seven individuals and firms have contributed Rs 5 crores and above.

The contributors include Eenadu group chairman Ch Ramoji Rao, Bharathi Cement Corporation Pvt Ltd, Transmission Corporation of AP Ltd., Aurobindo Pharma Foundation and Megha Engineering & Infrastructure Ltd, DIVI’s Laboratories Limited and AP Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.

He further informed that 104 donors have donated Rs 1 lakh and above.

Reddy said the donors, who wished to donate through cheques should write, Chief Minister’s Relief Fund – Andhra Pradesh, on their cheques, to send donations through online

(B) Andhra Bank AccountNo. 110310100029039, Velagapudi Secretariat Branch, IFSC Code: ANDB0003079 and to send donations through website: www.apcmrf.ap.gov.in and can use internet banking, debit card, credit card.

The persons who wish to donate through cheques and online should send their personal details like Name, Address of the Donor, Phone Number, E-mail address and purpose of donation, details of cheque and online payment etc., and sent/e-mailed to The Special Officer to Hon’ble CM, Ground Floor, 1st Block, AP Secretariat, Velagapudi /E-mail: splofficer-cm@ap.gov.in, he said.

The persons who wish to donate through website: www.apcmrf.ap.gov.in can download Hon’ble CM’s Letter, Receipt of Acknowledgement, Certificate of Income Tax for 100% exemption and automatic call.
