Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan has been diagnosed with Covid-19. He is undergoing treatment at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG) Hospitals at Gachibowli in Hyderabad.
The Governor was airlifted to Hyderabad this morning on a special flight from Vijayawada due to illness. Arriving in Vijayawada after concluding his visit to Delhi, he complained of cold and cough.
A team of expert doctors are monitoring his health. According to the CT scan findings and previous history of comorbidities, Mr Bhusan has been diagnosed with moderate Covid-19. His health condition is stable, a bulletin issued by the AIG Hospitals said.
Meanwhile, AP Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy spoke to AIG Hospitals chairman D. Nageswara Reddy on phone and enquired about Biswa Bhusan Harichandan’s condition. Doctors explained to the CM that the Governor’s health is stable at present.
