AP Govt. Allots 15 Acres for Basavatarakam

 

Andhra Pradesh govt. has allotted 15 acres of land in Amaravati for the setting up of a new unit of Basavatarakam cancer hospital and research centre. The foundation stone for the Institute will be laid next month and the hospital would start serving the needy within two years.

Balakrishna Nandamuri, the chairman of the Basavartarakam Indo-American Hospital in Hyderabad, thanked the AP govt. for allotting the land. He divulged that he plans to lay the foundation stone in February and complete the construction of the cancer hospital within two years. Balayya promised that the Amaravati unit will also provide free service for poor just like the Hyderabad unit does.

On the eve, Balayya thanked the Telangana govt. as well for the noble support in running the hospital in Hyderabad successfully.
