The AP cabinet has decided to lease the assets of AP Dairy Development to Amul. A ministerial meeting was held at the Velagapudi Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
The details were revealed to the media by the Minister of Public Relations, Information, and Transport, Perni Nani. He said that the AP govt has sanctioned Rs 69 crore to repay the debt of Dairy farms in Prakasam dist. The minister said that the cooperative dairies closed in AP would be handed over to Amul. Nani said that Amul services will be available in 708 villages in the state.
Perni Nani said the cabinet had approved the setting up of 176 PHCs in the state and sanctioned Rs 511.79 crore. He said that each Mandal will have three PHCs as well as two doctors for each primary health center and a 104 vehicle.
