The Andhra Pradesh politics are now evolving around the Cabinet reshuffle. While the aspirants are pinning high hopes that luck might shine on their side and they will give a chance to get into the new Cabinet, the Ministers are reportedly in a state of shock for losing the Cabinet posts. A few Ministers have reportedly held a secret meeting after the Cabinet meeting ended.
Making the reshuffle topic even more interesting, several media reports say that unlike what everyone is thinking, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had reportedly changed his mind and decided to retain not less than 10 Ministers in the new cabinet to have a balanced team.
Jagan had reportedly come to a conclusion that having a balanced team as an amalgamation of youngsters and seniors so that the young leaders can learn from the seniors. This decision is making the senior leaders pin high hopes.
If the reports are to be believed, half of the resigned Ministers are hoping that they might get retained in the cabinet as the political equations might favour them. The equations like communities and regions might increase the chances of a few leaders to receive a callback to the new cabinet which will be announced recently.
Compared to 2019, the situation in Andhra Pradesh has changed massively and the YCP government is facing anti-sentiment from various sections. Issues like Employees strike, power cut, and the hike in various taxes have dented the popularity of the YCP government.
On top of this, the opposition parties have started to attack the government on various issues. Mainly, the parties are trying to prove that continuing freebies will make Andhra Pradesh another Sri Lanka. Looking at these developments, YCP might not have an easy win in the forthcoming polls like it was in the 2019 polls.
Recently, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy also said that the party leaders and workers should work on winning the polls. So the Ministers are hoping that these developments would work well for them. No less than 10 Ministers might get retained by the Andhra Pradesh government as per the reports.
If the reports are to be believed, the likes of Botsa Satyanarayana, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Kodali Nani, Perni Nani, Buggana Rajendranath, Anil Kumar Yadav, Balineni, Kanna Babu, Taneti Vanitha, Appalaraju might have the chances to get retained.
