The Australian media had to face the wrath of Indian cricket fans after it compared Team India skipper Virat Kohli with the US President Donald Trump. “Kohli is the Donald Trump of world sport,” accused the Aussie media.
Not just cricket lovers even Big B Amitabh Bachchan came in support of Kohli and trolled the Australian media for accepting the fact that Virat Kohli is a winner and also the President.
Australian media targeted Kohli after he had accused the Australian players of disrespecting Team India physio Patrick Farhart during the recently concluded third Test in Ranchi.
Kohli’s counterpart, Steven Smith however rebuked Kohli’s allegations and said that they never trolled Farhart, who himself is an Australian.
Earlier, on the first day of the Ranchi Test, Kohli hurt his right shoulder while saving a run. Farhart rushed onto the field to treat Kohli but the captain eventually left the field. Later, Aussie all-rounder Glenn Maxwell mocked Kohli’s injury by clutching onto his shoulder after he dived to save a boundary.
The fourth and final test is expected to be a cracker of a game given the myriad controversies this series has witnessed.
