Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is all set for another Delhi Yathra tomorrow to meet PM Narendra Modi. This meeting assumes high significance especially after wide differences erupted between the TDP and BJP with Center not giving Special Status to the state.BJP’s failed assurances have now started threatening TDP as well and even though it is in alliance things are not working to any benefit.
Naidu has in this regard directed the officials to prepare a detailed Power Point Presentation about the funds which the state is entitled to receive after bifurcation.According to reports, the state received only a paltry 6400 Crore in two years. Naidu is also planning to bring to notice of the Prime Minister how Andhra Pradesh received just 433 Crore as drought fund while the neighbouring Telangana state has got 791 Crore.
Inside sources from TDP office reveal Naidu is expected to question if this is what they are getting for being in alliance with BJP. One thing is very clear, the outcome of this meeting is expected to decide the future course of TDP-BJP alliance going forward.
