When Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna arrives on the screen, the whole theatre is filled with whistles, claps and newspaper pieces flying all across. And when he delivers a thundering punch dialogue, the audience goes manic. That’s the impact he has among the masses and the commercial audience.

While that is his story onscreen, the story off the screen is quite different. The amount of fear and respect people have for Balayya is doubled outside. There are many who even tremble to go near him. In that situation, what happens when Balayya ends up whistling for the dance of a young hero.

This is something natural star Nani experienced. Sharing his thoughts, Nani recalled that during hisĀ  ‘Ride’ movie he along with director Ramesh Varma and few other politicians arranged for a special screening at Prasads multiplex and Balayya was the chief guest. In that film, the remix of ‘dhanchave menatha koothura’ is there.

It is heard that the moment the song came, a big whistle was heard and Nani was petrified because who can dare to whistle so loudly when Balayya is there. It turned out that the whistle came from Balayya because he liked Nani’s dance in that. From there, a personal connection established and that is the reason behind him being seen as a Balayya fan in ‘KVPG’.
