Balayya as Sri Krishna Devaraya Again February

Nandamuri Balakrishna is going to don the role of emperor Sri Krishna Devaraya. And if you think this is in his landmark 100th film, you’re mistaken. Balayya will be essaying the mythological role in AP government’s prestigious Lepakshi Utsavalu which will be held on Feb 27 and Feb 28.

However, this is not first time Balayya portraying the role of Sri Krishna Devaraya. Earlier in his masterpiece Aditya 369, Balayya enthralled one and all with this iconic role. Balayya’s role as Krishna Devaraya received accolades, applause from all corners.

Now that he is going to revive the magic with his live performance, the event garnered lot of buzz. In addition to this, Balayya also happens to be MLA of Hindupur and this is first-time a MLA in his capacity performing live on stage.

Held annually with much fanfare and piety at famous Lepakshi temple in Anantapur, AP government this time took it as prestigious and decided to do on grand note. The government of AP wants to highlight the famous pilgrim towns and historic places in the state as part of its tourism drive.
