‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ Question Irks Prakash Raj In Karnataka

In the film “Bharat Anu Nenu”, versatile actor Prakash Raj played the role of a chief head of a party and calls all the shots from within his house. In one scene, he even slaps a CB CID officer who is investigating a high profile disproportionate assets case. Those acts are irking him now.

These days after being politically active with his own comments on Narendra Modi and BJP, he is talk of the town. The other day when Prakash Raj attended a conclave held by a TV channel, a retired police officer irked the actor by saying that he could slap whoever he wants on the silver screen. At the same time, the IPS also slipped words that directors found a good villain in Prakash Raj. The actor retorted to this saying, “They found a good actor in me, not a villain. How dare you say that. Learn how to speak!!”.

While the show moderator didn’t allow the IPS officer to speak any further, Prakash Raj also got stunned to see why Bharat Ane Nenu or his film roles are being brought to discussions. “Don’t try to castigate me by the roles I play in the films” he’s heard uttering while confirming that the questioner has no moral right to ask him anything, as he doesn’t know how to talk.

The questioner might have tried to ask on why Prakash Raj slapped a police on the silver screen when he preaches so many morals and ideologies in real life. Well, once again the answer is clear, cinema is for entertainment and nothing should be taken seriously.
