The investigation process in the much-talked-about murder case of late YSR’s brother, EX Minister YS Vivekananda Reddy is going at a rapid pace. After recording the statement of Viveka’s watchman Rangaiah, the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) made one more breakthrough.
It is said that the CBI sleuths nabbed Sunil Yadav in Goa and he is believed to be the main accused in the murder case that has shocked everyone. Sunil Yadav was arrested based on the information the CBI got, reports claimed.
After the information and evidence pointed fingers at Sunil Yadav, the CBI started searching for him and reached Goa after getting information that he had been living in Goa.
The murder case was transferred to the CBI from the Special Investigation Team after YS Viveka’s daughter Sunitha Narreddy moved the Andhra Pradesh High Court with a petition to know the development in the case.
In the writ petition, she filed at the High Court, she mentioned 15 members as the suspects in the case. The suspects mentioned by Sunitha include Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy and a few others.
Earlier in April 2021, Suneetha Narreddy addressed the media at the national capital Delhi after visiting the CBI headquarters. Expressing her dissatisfaction over the CBI’s probe in the matter, she wondered why no arrests were made by the officials. She smelled the incident as a political murder.
YS Vivekananda Reddy was found dead at his residence in Pulivendula of Andhra Pradesh on March 15, 2019. After blood clots were found at his residence, a case of unnatural death was filed by the local police.
It’s been more than two years since the incident took place and now the CBI nabbed a person who is said to be the main accused in the case.
Earlier last week, Viveka’s watchman reportedly revealed key information in his statement that was recorded before the Jammalamadugu Magistrate. He raised many eyeballs by saying that Rs 8 crore was given by two big people for his murder, reports claimed.
After giving testimony, Viveka’s watchman Rangaiah was provided security as he complained of receiving threats. Tight security was provided to the watchman.
